2016 – 39th Annual Festival was a great success only because of enthusiast and participation by carvers and collectors throughout America. We have entries from as far as Wisconsin and vendors from Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. This year Harvey Lewis announced and distributed his new book “Contemporary Louisiana Decoys”.
2015 – 38th Annual Festival was filled with interest and competition. Along with carving demonstrations by the famous Cal Kingsmill, another new carver demonstrated his family tradition of working duck decoy carvings using hand tools like his great grandfather. Joe Aguzin learned carving techniques passed down through the family legacy and continues to put out wooden examples of working duck decoys that are hunted over every duck season.
2014 – 37th Annual Festival was exciting with new vendors and lots of caving completion entries. Head whittling and live auctions are some of the entertainment that could be seen.
